Meet the Owner
Founder, Owner, Stylist
Kendra Allen is a Graphic Designer and Photographer by trade who grew up dabbling in a variety of mediums including fashion design, visual art, film photography, and digital design.
After facing a life changing TBI (traumatic brain injury) and needing to change career paths, Moxie and Mine was founded as a way to take all of her creative talents and use them as a way to market a product of her own. Kendra loves being able to serve her community and the environment at the same time through Moxie and Mine.
She was born and raised in Kingston, Ontario where she loves to support local.
Behind the name
Our name is a combination of sugar and spice. Yin and yang. Moxie represents the grit and perseverance it takes maintain a relationship and Mine represents the tenderness you hold in your heart for someone when you call them “mine.”
Life is all about polarity. Light and dark. We wanted to bring bold, fearless, and spunky elements into the brand as much as we wanted to bring softness, love, and light. Don’t be afraid to have moxie. And don’t be afraid to call someone mine. Love is the bravest act of all.
